Riassunto: partendo da una rassegna sul termine linguistico ente / enté secondo le etimologie offerte dai dizionari etimologici dell'antico francese, l’articolo lo collega alle attestazioni che si leggono in romanzi e lais della narrativa medievale in lingua d'oïl. 

Abstract: starting from a a review of the linguistic term ente / enté according to the etymologies offered by the Etymological Dictionaries of the Medieval French Language, the article connects it to the attestations that can be read in Romances and Lais of Medieval Literature in langue d'oïl.
